Novozymes concludes agreement in Brazil on 2nd gen biofuels

Novozymes has concluded a development agreement with CTC, the Brazilian sugar cane industry’s technical center. Under this agreement Novozymes will contribute enzyme technology for developing bioethanol from bagasse.

Broin and Novozymes to collaborate on development of ethanol

Two leading players within the growing biofuels industry, Broin and Novozymes, today announced a collaboration to take the next steps needed to bring cost-effective ethanol derived from corn stover to market. Novozymes enters development cooperation on biomass for biofuel

From August Novozymes and China Resources Alcohol Corporation will begin a three year cooperation agreement on research into processes for producing cellulose-based biomass for biofuel – so-called second generation biofuel – in China.
